Not so smooth shifting. Should I be concerned?

What's going on guys. My EVO (especially in second) is very "clunky" I guess you could describe it. It's not a grind, but it seems like it takes more effort then it should. 2nd and 3rd are the worst and the rest seem to be fine. Could this be my syncrhos or perhaps do I need to change out my fluids? I'm no car guru so don't flame me if it sounds retarded. I have 23k miles on my 04 and I drive somewhat aggressive, but never launched and never taking to the track. Advice?

Try changing out the fluid to BG Synchroshift. I'm planning to try it on my 05 when the time comes. I notice it's much smoother after everything gets "warm".

Definitely do a tranny fluid change. You'll notice a difference.

Keep in mind, however, that the way your tranny currently feels will eventually come back. You'll just have to change the fluid again...
