HID laws

does anyone know if 6000k HID is illegal?? I live in California if that has anything to do with it.

dott. lol i got 30000k not 3000 but 30000, they just came out they are like black lights, ya they dont show on road as well but i have it wired where my fogs, highs, and low beams are on at same time. and thne i can just turn my highs off when a car is on coming...

i dotn see why you would need a 30000k lighting system....the whole of HID is to see better, not to make a car look tacky

well i have 6000k set of bulbs for highs, fogs, lows as welll as 30000k. i have 6 sets 3 for each evo the daily evo has 6000s

but i dont get why you would want all three lights running all the time, and your kill it when there's oncoming traffic, that does kill the lif of the bulb, but i guess with a lineup like yours, money doesnt matter....

pics of the 30000k?

no i dont got pics of 30000k yet they are actually prolly not really 30000k thats how they were advertised, they are very colored but id say more like 15000k in real terms. my stock lights outta the red one are at evodaves for painting right now and my mr heads n tails are sittin in my room and both evos are at the body shop right now til prolly december..... well the silver one will be back in 2 weeks they said, then i got to take it to Slick and have him strip it down to convert to the stock block off the red one because im makin the red one the real nice one...

well its not really purple thats the thing i was confused i thought they would be a real deep purple too. they are a very strong blue with a tad of purple. my friends told me too they are like shouldnt these be purple or somthin?
