RMR Testing RWD Evo 9- Video

To do it with a stockish Evo seems like a great way to mess up a perfectly good car, IMO.
Of course after mine worked fine and I gave it the stamp of approval everywhere, people bought them and started breaking them. Turned out not all the switch trannies came out of VR4's, some came out of 1.8s and 2.0 NT, etc and had different gearing. Oops, not my fault but I caught a lot of **** for being the spokesman.

RSVIII,
I REALLY want to see a pic of your ride with those Superleggraras on it!!!

...One of the main reasons the EVO exists, as we know it, its because its 4-wheel transmission and traction. AYC (which we don't have) make of the existing platform a "traction nirvana", if you may, capable of defying cars costing as much as 10x-20x, on the track, and OFF the track too!
I do not want to be a party pooper here, at all, but a RWD conversion *completely* dillutes the true essence of this vehicle, and transforms it into just another plain, joe-schmoe RWD car, which there are many, many out-there (with all due respect to Ferrari, BMW, etc.
)
This whole thing sounds to me like buying a car, stripping its tires, and loading the thing on your nearest AMTRAK rail-road, for some "racing"
. Pretty weird, if someone asks me. Why not buying an S2000 and loading a turbo kit? or even a Lotus Elise?
Go figure

*Similar* in function when the ACD switches from Tarmac to Gravel to Snow; varying the lock-rate, NOT the amount of torque transferred.
STi = 35:65 AT ALL TIMES (the new one I believe is 49:51 or something like that)
Evo = 50:50 AT ALL TIMES
Only Honda's SH-AWD and I believe Skyline GT-R's ATTESA varies the torque transferred front/rear.

I want a price tag on this kit, installation is no problem as long as they will provide a manual/diagram or whatever they provide that shows you how to do it.

1) Lock the center diff ???
2) Strengthen the rear driveshafts ???
3) ....
4) Profit?
