How can you tell model year / build date on an Evolution.... VII or VIII....

I just need a positive way of identifying the year of the vehicle.

Pretty sure it says it on the label in the door jam....

Its just the US cars are being released in March - which is a little different for new cars - as most stuff is September . Which makes them the next year model.... so a Sept 2003 is a 2004 model year...

I just want to see what they did with the Evo VII and VIII. Usually Japanese car guys are calendar year to calendar year.
