Own an Evo now! :)
Finally bought a 2003 Apex silver Evo VIII with 54,000 miles. I paid $18,000 for it and its never been modded.
I have mods going on the car this upcoming week for a drag event next weekend. Should be fun!
I did my first AWD launch (private road) and nailed it on the first try. All I can say is WOW!!! The car feels great. Looking forward to the mods going on the car and making it a beast.

p.s. Without a time slip, you don't know if you "nailed" the launch. I used to think I could launch the car until I went to the track and pulled 2.2 short times.
Congrats, but I thought you already had an EVO. Hopefully I will be joining you in Feb., yup finally shall have an EVO in Feb, trying to save $4,000 + Tax Return $2,000= $6,000 down on an EVO. So far I've saved $700 in 3 weeks, just $3,300 to go, Woohoo!

Congrats! I haven't had my evo for too long either. I can imagine how you must be feeling. Just don't turn into a "stuck up" EVO driver. (LoL, that's what my friends say I'm going to be now.)
