What can one do to an evo to beat hooked up evos, and still make your car appear stock, The cart has a basically stock exhaust with a hollowed out catalytics converter everything seems to be stock on it, but its beating an evo with a tbe boost set to 22 psi, and another one with headers, intake, tbe exhaust, boost controller at both 21 and 22 psi, a bigger front mount etc. and we keep getting beat by a stock looking evo, the only possible thing the head may be port and polished on it.
nah dude shifts and launch were good for both of us he starts pulling harder in 3rd gear its weird up to then i was ahead by a lil bit like i could of looked to the left and he was right there 3rd gear comes around he pulls on me and continues to pull.
anyone think he might be boosting to like 30 psi, he has a manual boost controller a flashed ecu, and an intake, and a pep boys exhaust...I know that when i was setting my boost controller and accidently had it set to high my car did boost to 30 psi for a brief second and it felt quick as hell...

Yeah looked under the hood its not cams cuz the car idles normal, we are really thinking he might have ported his exhaust manifold, and his turbo and intake manifold but would that make him that much faster? i mean he beats us by a good 6 car lengths. It sucks.......
My car with the tbe, mbc, intake is not flashed, the other car with the bigger front mount and all that is flashed....The stock looking evo is flashed or has that 5000 rpm rev limiter taken off not sure, but its an 05 and he can rev past 5000rpm when he is stopped..

Yo u guys dont know how much does that bother me, well both of us...that an evo with a boost controller and intake and a half *** exhaust, is beating other carrs with full 3 inch tbe, exhaust manifolds front mounts....

I doubt he is pushing 30 psi on a stock turbo, even with meth. thats a lot.
And you can remove the 5K limiter.
