Hi, evey one, i got a Evo 2003 which i will install Cat-back, Downpipes, and Test pipes on it. i heard some people said that it need to adjust the computer system after the installation. So, can you tell me do i really need to do that. if so, how? Thanks a Lot

 

First piece of advice - change that "i heard some people said" to "I have done a ton of research and realize that." This is a very ignorant question that you should know the answer to as an Evo owner. The mere fact that you refer to it as "adjusting the computer system" as opposed to "tuning" speaks volumes. Do a little research...do it here...start with the Search button.

Next piece of advice - we don't have downpipes and test pipes...we use one downpipe and one test pipe.

Lastly - no, you don't need to get tuned as a result of the upgraded exhaust.

 

With just an exhaust you don't need a flash but you would get more power. It really isn't needed until you add an intake or cams. Try doing a search for flashes. If you could get a few more mods before before Al heads over to the Seattle area that would be a nice chance to get a custom tune. Warrtalon--do you really need to post all negative stuff you do? So what if he doesn't know all the correct jargon, maybe he's just learning or doesn't speak fluent english, who know's and anybody could figure out what he is trying to ask. It seems like you just enjoy seeing your name posted on every thread and you have to rip someone apart to do it.
