Yes, I did that. Each time I replaced pads I was a little more aggressive with how I used the brakes as I read here that it was entirely possible that I was babying them TOO much. Though it seemed that the more I used the brakes, the faster they went to ***t. I did not ever mash the pedal in to the floor, and I restrained from engine-braking during the period of time I was having problems as I too often engine-brake. I even tried different pads with the stock rotors, (I think I have enough barley-used brake pads in my garage to last me the life of the car! lol), and it didn't matter.

New aftermarket rotors, new brake pads, problem solved. Well worth my $600!

mathgeek, I went with the Ferodo DS2500 pads. I LOVE them, and even though they are rather expensive I will probably continue to buy them.

The rotors I went with are the DBA 4000 1 piece slotted. There is a vendor selling them on here if you decide to go with those.

i mean i hate to sound so quipy... it really is tho... just gotta mash it... that's what the bedding is... you hit 80 to 0 as fast as you can 10 times in a row... bet if you do that... you'll not have the problem ever again.

I DID mash the pedal in during the bedding process.

I followed the EXACT same bedding procedure with my NEW rotors and NEW pads that I followed EVERY time I had the stock rotors turned and new pads installed. I have NOT changed my driving habits, and now I have NO problems with new rotors and new pads after 40k+ miles.

Can I be any more clear than above? Did you even read what I wrote previously in this thread?
