Anyone been able to top out their reflashed evo (top speed limiter removed) on the track. Mitsu claims 157 wondering if that is true. I wonder what rpm that is in 5th.

 

mine was reflashed to hit 207mph. i've only gone 107 though.

I hit 140 with my stock EVO with no flash, it was still climbing but I was running out of straight road....

i hit 155 in my MR.... its all stock and didnt go much after that!

 

Seriously its a highway Out in the middle of nowhere, I know it like the back of my hand, and it is perfectly flat concrete freeway that goes for about 5 miles. Only place i would ever even think about it. The car is incredibly stable at that speed still.

Get the Best Motoring Factory Fighters. They do a top speed run on EvoVIII, and Evo8MR. Of course all stock. I think Straight 8 did 163 mph and MR 160, actually a little slower because of of extra downforce from the vortex generator.
