My seat fabric is coming off!!!

I imagine this probably has happened to someone else than me. The fabric on my stock front seats is separating from the seat. It basically feels like its draped ontop of the seat in some areas! Is this a warranty issue? Anyone tried to get this fixed under warranty?

I have it a little on my driver side. The passenger side is fine. I am thinking of just taking it to a headliner/seat upholstet shop to see if they can fix it.

Yeah, I have it too. It is right in the lumbar region of the driver side. The fabric is not tight, it is a little bubbled up. I took it to the dealer and they said because it was such an expensive repair that they have to have a Mitsubishi Rep look at it, it has been over 2 months and still no answer. They say they will know more this week. Yeah right

$7000? Dont think so. I noticed a little wear after only 5k-6k miles so I put seat covers on.

You could buy another set of recaros with better thigh bolsters Like the JDM and UK seats for cheaper and get them re upholstered for cheaper than that.
$7000 for the seats that is the most rediculous thing I have heard.

yeah $7000 for the pair or was it just for one (I can't remember), read a post on here about someone stealing them and insurance paid $7k for the seats. hard to believe but that's what they are
