For those of you who are already fortunate enough to own an Evo IX, we are receiving the Ecutek software tomorrow, so we can embark on a new journey into the MIVEC tuning world. The results should be very interesting and we are all extremely excited to be a part of it. Ecutek has already shown amazing results on the Evo VIII ECU flash. Similarly, the Evo IX flash should prove to produce much the same, if not more. No one is quite sure as of yet.
If there is anyone who owns an Evo IX and would like a flash, please contact me. We just may have an incredible deal for you. Thank you all.

So you have to buy different hardware to perform the flash on a IX vs a VIII? Or is it just a different software dump to the same machine?

Here at Switzer Performance we have been an ECUTEK dealer for several months now having nothing but great results with the software. We sent our ECU code dump and details up to Ecutek yesterday. They are hoping to release the configuration files for the EVOIX as early as tomorrow so we plan to be flashing the car as soon as possible. It will be really interesting to have Mivec control as well. Should be a lot of fun.
