Depends on how deep your pockets are. Water will just cool the air. Water is pretty cheap. Water/alky will cool the air a little, and the alky is a fuel enhancer. Alky is more expensive than water. Mixing them defrays the cost a little. Straight alcohol will get you the most power, but is the most expensive.

Of course the one thing you didnt mention was the tune, and that is the most important thing out of it all.

Did anyone notice the blue dye in windoze washer fluid? Is taht stuff gonna be completely burned off? Experienced user reply only please.
As of now Im using 100% Methanol. Local place have them for about $15 for 5gal drum+tax

 

alcohol is like $13 includes tax at homedepot... its kinda expensive.....
so i went with 50/50..........i just ran 25psi with this.........i didnt tune it yet..
but feels very strong,,,pulling so hard my tires spin at even 3rd gear.....it wasnt like that before.....i am so happy,,,i m going to shoot for 28psi when i get tune........
anyone got some dynograph that shows power difference between 50/50 mix and 100%alcohol.

Well, switch fuel maps and lower boost.

 

I repeat. $15 for 5 (FIVE) Gallons.
Don't buy the stuff from Lowes/HomeDepot. Go to a Race Fuel store.
And also worth noting, I use less than 5 Gal in 6 months. You'll need a bit more if you track the car a lot.

 

I run straight methanol also and pick it up in 5 gallon pails for about $15. Each drum lasts about a month (less if autox or boosting a lot). Still much less than running c16 all of the time.

 

5 gallon for $15? Where? What kind of container are you storing it in?

I'm using and paying the $13 for denature alky at lowe/home depot
