Problems with a vendor

Just wanted to let you guys know about my problems with revhighonline. I ordered one Volk wheel and a tire from them (mounted). I had good dealings at first with them but they told me I would have my wheel and tire within 2 weeks.

Over two MONTHS later I fianlly got the wheel and that was only after many phone calls and e-mails. Revhigh never let me know what was going on until I kept badgering them. On multiple ocassions they kept promising the wheel in a couple more days.... When I finally requested my money back, they promised it would be there in a couple of days.... (again) Well it finally arrived. It came without the center cap as I was promised over the phone and revhigh has refused to send me one. I told them I would give them time to make it right and over a month later I am letting the forum know about my experience.

Their prices seem good but I think it is at the expense of customer service and satisfaction. I will not be buying from them again...beware.

Don't take this the wrong way... but why haven't you left them negative feedback if they are that bad???

I've spent almost $4,000.00 with Joseph from Revhighonline. With all my dealings with him, the only things messed up were there sent me the wrong rotor and forgot to put a "Rays" cap on one of my Volk rims from a wheel tire package I ordered.

Joseph fixed it right away, said he was very sorry for the mishap. Overall my experience was an A+. I'm not sure who you were dealing with, but I had a pretty good experience with Revhighonline.

Hopefully it will pan out for you.

I waited 8 months for Volk wheels becuase they take for ever to get here from Japan. (different vendor) Maybe it wasn't their fault the wheel didn't show up. I know Ray's is good at saying they are on thier way and they are not.

True, I researched thoroughly who claimed to have Volk in stock. Joseph assured me they had them in stock and my wheel would be to me in less than two weeks. Needless to say, didn't happen. The main problem was continual delays and broken promises. I realize they may have had supplier problems and SNAFUs, but I think the mark of a good vendor is how they treat a customer when things don't go right. I was treated poorly by revhigh. On the bright side, I got a clutch from them at the same time and it was delivered very quickly, but to taint that, they did not honor the price they had on their website.
