Rear Crash Bar

I want to buy the JDM evo9 rear bumper. I heard you have to remove the crash bar.

What will this effect incase i do get into accident? Will insurance not pay? etc

As far as insurance is concerned, that's between you and your insurance comapny based on YOUR policy, so give them a call about it, however....

.... Adam at Z1 says that he is aware of a Japanese spec. crash bar that will work with the Evo 9 rear bumper. I have yet to see one, but here's hoping he can provide some more info about it soon!

On my ep3 I have full jdm ctr kit with both front and rear impact beams. The front was a direct bolt on, however the rear did not bolt into the usdm location. Not sure how it is with the evo...just my .02

I've seen that the JDM's do alright in a crash . What will actually happen in the event of a crash?
