do you think because the base price is over 29k that it might sway some ppl away *prolly not but worth asking*

cause like my parents dont really like the idea of paying 30k+ for an Evo when it could be bought for something like a C230 or something of that nature ...

+ has anyone bargined for a really GOOD deal .. i remember when many ppl here would like tell about how they bargined for a good deal below the sticker *though i dont knoe if thats true haha*

My really good friend works at the dealer where I purchased mine. I told him how some people on here are talking about getting their car for a couple hundred over invoice and he said most of them are lying and just want it to appear they are getting a good deal. Being a employee of the dealership he can look up the prices that the evo's have been sold for and or call the dealerships. He said he hasnt seen any NEW 9's sell for anything less thant 250 under MSRP.

Being that he is a very good friend I believe him. Why would any dealer sell a just released car for anything less than MSRP.

i mean anything is possible ... come on mitsu is the first ones to get this gas debit card
program rolling *dont knoe if its really working but yeah* ...

i mean if you put up a good down payment im sure they'll open up their hand a bit and make sure that the keys get to you ASAP ... i mean they are there to sell a car ... just gotta bargin and not play to their hand *i.e. having them sell you the car for something way more than what it should be*

MSRP listing *edmunds* 35189

I got mine for 500 over invoice, not sticker I am paying 35,200 for a evo 9 mr that stickers for 36,300
I work as a tech at a MB dealer and I can get a helluva deal on a mb but I would rather have my evo

If any body is interested in a fair deal on a Evo from a NW Indianna dealer PM me and I will give ya the name & # of the Dealer and guy I dealt with. they will have to order the car and I cant say how your deal will go, but I got my price without a lot of drama

i can't believe the markup on these cars in some regions. I should be picking up a IX GSR w/ SSL in the next week or so and i will list the price before taxes.

I just called my local dealer. They said they dont have any IX's but can get anything I want on a dealer trade. I told them I wanted a black 9 with SSL. They located one and said price was 32,800. I have an 03 with 22k I want to trade in. Without even seeing the car they said I would get 22k on trade.

So it will cost me 11k to upgrade from an 03 to an 06 with SSL. I'm having second thoughts.

This is all before TTL.

Take this for what you want. I'm sure invoice is lower than 32,800 but its a new car.

I think you should do it and get the newer car.

An 06 w/ SSL invoices for 32,9xx I am in negotiating with one right now, and the dealership in going to sell me the car for $500 over invoice.

I too got offered 22k for my evo, but i get to keep all aftermarket parts.
