Engine noise
Warrlton, I already searched. My EVO all the sudden sounds like I am driving it cold all day long. It sounds like if you started your EVO on a 20 degree morning and just drove away without letting it warm up. I think it might be the belts but Im not sure. Its not coming from the transfer case or the clutch or anything underneath. Does anyone else hear this whining noise from underneath the hood? Thanks

How loud is the noise? Does the noise get faster louder as you accelerate? Just to mention when my car starts up cold it just revs high thats all no noise. Warrtalon posted inregards to another member having a loud whine that was cured by pinning down some induction duct where the car pulls cool air from...
