On the Unos, clockwise to increase, counter-clockwise to decrease

SRS is your airbag warning light
As far as I know, once SRS light is on, you can't reset SRS light until you replace whole airbag sensor which is $500+
I could be wrong...

The bcs is right below the airbox, has 2 hoses coming out of it, if you took the boost lines off the turbo and off the wastegate, you surely saw this solenoid. either nipple them off or just cut one of the hoses you took off and loop it from one hole to the other. you should only need a few inches of hose to do this.
Why the hell is your SRS light on? what did you do?
like war said, disconnect batt for a few, than re connect and drive around for 20 min to see if it comes back on, if it does....dont know what to tell you.

Good, then my advice is proper.

I just wonder how he thought he was turning towards the (+) when turning to the left. That skurrs me.

He did cap off those nipples. I think he forgot to reconnect one of the electrical plugs.

He shouldn't unplug the battery until he finds a potential source of the problem, such as an electrical plug.

alright here we go lets get the clear lol....if i turn it counterclockwise is reduces boost, if i turn it clockwise it raises boost. if i turn it all the way counterclockwise it will stop at minimum boost which for me was at 14psi. i then turned it clockwise 3.5 full rotations to raise it to about 17-18psi. after work imma turn it 1 more full rotation to hop to get it to 20psi.

the electrical connection you are talking about i did plug in. it is on the bottom side of the airbox facing the front of the car. so you are saying take it off, remove the negative terminal, plug it in while it's unplugged, then put back the negative termial and start it up?

how did you get the CEL if you pushed it to hard? but thanks for all the help..im just glad the car runs normal again haha...

if im right the srs light is for side restraint system. Your seat belts. You have another light for your airrbags. I have harnesses in my car and removed my seatbelts and thats why my srs light is on. Good luck.

another issue that i encountered...is my SRS light and check engine light is on is there something that i unplugged while i was down there?
When you disconnect the harness to the boost solinoid you will get the light for sure, plug it back in, disconnect (-) terminal of battery, wait 5 min, reconnect battery, walla, then your good to go.

Thanks

If you are fooling around in the engine bay, it's best to disconnect the battery.

Yes, this is how it should be. I don't understand why you told us that when you turned it all the way to the (+) it only boosted 14psi, though. This should be all the way towards the (-).

Whoa, no no no. I never said that! I said to do the battery thing if and when you FIND the problem. I didn't say to DISCONNECT your MAF plug. I was just saying you need to make sure it IS connected. Also, you still have to make sure the BCS is plugged in. You haven't responded to that yet.

Man, you're killing me here. I didn't say I pushed it too hard, hahahah . I said that I plugged in the MAF connector, but I still got an error code, because the plug itself didn't seat all the way. In other words, I did NOT push on the plug hard enough to make it connect all the way. So, I went back and pushed harder until it *snicked* into place. All you should do is make sure the MAF plug is fully seated, then make sure the BCS connector is plugged in. You may not be able to see it with the stock airbox still in place...

it's done! CEL is off, SRS is still on, but that's ok...weird thing is i can get it to 20psi, but it still tapers a bit, not as much as the stockie, but tapers to maybe 17.5-18psi. is that normal?

Yes, it will always taper some. The stock turbo runs out of breath as you approach 7000rpm. Why did the CEL go off? Was something disconnected? What did you fix? Spill the beans.

Anyway, go ahead and set it so that in 3rd gear it SPIKES to no higher than 22psi, but holds 20-21 almost all the way to 7000rpm.

thx warrtalon aka (warrelton) JK!! haha..the reason people say warrelton is cause it just looks like that at a glance until you really look at it..you should space in it if you can.

well during i lunch i decided to unplug the battery for a couple minutes and bam! instafix. i guess as a work of advice to other, unplug the battery terminal while installing.

right now my mbc is spiking at 20 so i think i should adjust a tad more so it spikes at 22. like warrtalon said.
