if you want the IX go for it. otherwise keep it. im kinda itching for IX RS, but the VIII will do....until i find myself with a pen in my hand at the dealership.
have you looked into what your VIII is worth?

Keep it! Since you will feel the same again next time when the X come out. Maybe at that time, you may save enough money for getting the X and immediately doing upgrade then. :-)
-if i trade now my payments should be about the same with the money i have
-i will still need to buy winter tires, tint and mabye a cd player
-this will set me back on the mods i had planned for my 04 rs
-i'm not sure about the x
???

If you like (more) debt ... sell it!
Try building your equity in your car before you sell or mod it. Put the saving in your house fund, if you already own buy another.
Just my opinion.

ive never heard of equity in a car...maybe i misunderstood
anyway personal opinion, its a very bad idea to trade in, i dont care what anyone tells you, yes the payments might be the same but look how much more over time you will spend. i love the 8 and i am still skeptical about the nine...so i say take that money that (over time) u'll spend on payin for the 9 n mod ur RS...then see who is king of the road...lol

n 1: the difference between the market value of a property and the claims held against it
In this case the property is 'the car'. Basically, we're saying the same thing. That he should 'own' more of his car instread of trading up. you add that he can use the $$$ saved on mods.
