05' Tarmac black 9K for 24.5K?

Good deal or bad deal. No ssl package just a bone stock 9K miled 05' evo for 24.5K. I think it's a good deal what do you think? The viper fell through too much out of pocket. Even though it makes more financial sense ( not having to pay %%%) she doesn't like the idea of 20K leaving the bank for a "stupid car", so 5.5% financing will have to do.

I too turned down a viper (99 GST) for an 05 TB Evo. Got it off the "for sale" section of this very site. Had 7k miles on her and paid 26k for it. Don't regret it for a second! Don't worry about the SSL package. Unless of course you're not planning on doing any real racing such as AutoX's. It's just over rated extra weight in my opinion.

I wanted 24K, but they are not wanting to deal. I'm already getting 1.25K less than they are asking. The owner even sent me a autorader.com search with 1 other 05' black evo for under 25K and it had 13K miles on it.

I would say that is a fabulous deal. Just take a good look at the tires to ensure it wasn't driven to death. Even at that mileage its still a new car.

Sounds like a good deal. Just have it well checked over b4 you buy it. Make sure there are no warranty restrictions on the VIN (which there shouldnt be if stock, but it might have been autocrossed).

As long as the car has been properly taken care of and is mechnically sound.

I had to replace my first set of tires at 8k. 9k is a bad point IMO to check tires, as it will most likely be the start of a second set if the car is driven hard. An easy check though, you can't find stock tires any more, so if they're not the OE Advans, they've already been replaced.

Regardless, that's a very good price IMO.
