This is a long shot asking but, About a month ago i bought my rr 2003 evo 8 from performance mitusbishi in cincinnati ohio. Ive talked to a member of this forum n2mprtz who thought the guy that owned it before me had done some mods to it then returned it back to stock, just leaving the autometer boost gauge when he traded it in. I am hoping someone on this forum will know him and tell me weather or not he had a flash done. thanks for the help

Wait wait wait did you get the one with the dark tint, UK badge, and mudflaps? Cuz I believe that was my friends he traded it in on a new 05 w/ssl

 

not much help but if you post a pic you might get a hit

 

uk badging, mudflaps. no tint though. but it does have the black plastic diffusers on the front bumper.

 

performance did say that the prevouse owner did trade it in on a new 05. whoever it was took good care of it. but i know that he had a manual boost controler at the least because i had to buy the stock vacuum hoses to get boost back up to 19.5. just trying to find out if he had a flash or not.

The dealer should be able to tell you if it has been flashed, they might not be able to tell though if it was flashed back to stock.

That was my friends evo and yes he had it flashed a while back but that was for the accessories that he had on it so it might be a good idea to have it reflashed

 

soon to evolve, what accesories did he have on it? what flash did he get? i knew someone on here would know considering the evo community.

 

I will contact him later when he gets off but I really dont understand how you put up with performance mitsu. I had bad experiences with them they are a$$ holes there.

 

Your right about performance mitsubishi. The only reason i got it there was the car. where did you get your evo from? thanks for helping me out finding out about the flash and the mods he had done to it.

 

I got mine from dearbourn (spelling?) from a pvt seller for 22,999 with 16,000 miles on it, and dont sweat it I am happy to help a fellow evo owner out.
