Will Evo IX headlights work on EVO VIII?

About to buy the EVO 9 headlights for my EVO VIII, but want to know if anyone else has tried this, or know if this will NOT work... I just got into a little accident and want to make sure I spend the extra cash on something that will work...

Pete

if the evo 9 headlights have HIDS they should have the motors on them. From what I hear the headlights are identical except for the black housings. Once we get one in stock at our dealership I will let you know

actually, the stock headlights our no good anymore...so instead of risking the opening of the Headlight housing and exposing it to the elements as I had done before with the new ones, I opted to get the already black EVO IX headlights....which where only a 50 bucks more....
