it possible to use an aftermarket d2s hid kit in a jdm mr housing? i have a 9006 hid kit and thinking of upgrading the housing to get a true hid projector to get rid of the scatter. the black looks better then the chrome to me as well.

i don't know if i can just replace the project and paint the headlights but that would be a cheaper route i would think then buying the set of housings.
