Question about ski/snowboard racks for the Evo

Question about ski/snowboard racks for the Evo

Do any of you guys know where I can get a rack for my snowboard on the EVO? Thanks in advanced guys.

Thule makes one, some guy here has one that Ive seen, but i would check a website or google

it is not recommend to add a roof rack to the mr's aluminum roof.
cause its not made strong enough to support one.

i call BS on the MR comment, The roof of the car must be strong enough to hold it's weight incase of a roll over. the Sheet meatal might be aluminum but i'm almost certain it still has Steel Suports.

I have a Yakima for mine, and the mounts don't sit on the actual roof panel so the MR comment wouldn't mean anything anyways. Works beautifully and doesnt hurt the paint one bit.

i could put a rack on my baby if that meant driving to colorado with my snowboards, a snow bunny in the passenger seat, and tons of snow on the road. hells yeah i'd put a rack on it.

your MR roof is strong enough to hold a rack. the racks put all the loads on the door pillar, which are strong enough for rollovers, so certainly for a rack with a snowboard or 8.
