Seriously dude....I gotta be the voice of reason here.....
You make 2K a month...which is beans, you cannot afford a brand new Evo. Im 25 and I make around $80K a year... I have no credit card debt but with my house payment, bills, utilities and whatever else comes along, having an evo is still expensive. Even with my wife's income of around $35K a year....it's still expensive. You shouldn't consider buying a car that will be half of your monthly income.....and at your age, your insurance on a brand new Evo will be astronomical...that's hoping that you have a clean driving record. If you've got stuff on your record...all I can say is WOW.
You need to stick with what you have..or find something cheaper. I realize that it idea of driving an Evo and chasing tail at your age is an awesome idea...but you would be much better served in the long run to work on getting a better job, and more money in the bank.

Not trying to come down hard on you..just hoping I can make you see that it's a crazy expense. My wife has to keep me grounded or else I would make crazy decisions like this all the time. Infact, this past weekend I was convinced that with our income being over $100K a year...and having only 1 car payment...and with a big enough down payment, that I could trade my Evo in next year on a new BMW M5. Dude..that's an $82,000 car! And I had myself convinced that I could do it..then my wife was like "UHHH you have like a 8 mile comute everday to go to work....what do you need an M5 for???" And as much as I hate to admit that a 500HP BMW M5 would be a stupid waste of money...in the end, I had to agree she was right! LOL

But there's nothing wrong with dreamin big! Good luck bro...

I have 3 credit cards and i never missed any payment. 2 are almost paid off and 1 i still have 2g's on it..... Bascially they said i need to put 10k down and i can get it They said i needed histroy of car payment but i dont have any cause i got my car for free 02 GTi 1.8T. Oh and i had my credit cards for 2 years and never missed a payment. I thought that would be good enough
I make $90k a year and a 670 credit score, single, no mortgage, and I still got rejected by most banks. Ones I got approved for had APR of 8-9%.

are there any websites where u can check ur credit score for free?!

i dont even have an evo and i wish i never purchased the ralliart. i mean i love the car but, im spending so much money to keep it on the road its not even worth it. $335 payment + $300 insurance and $100/mo for gas.. it adds up! i could have my own apartment by now, or maybe even a townhouse.. i wish i can go back and un-do it but its too late. i think you should get a cheaper car and worry about getting ur own place/furniture etc... id rather have a cool lil 'bachelors' pad then an expensive car... but do what u want lol!

No, I believe they give you 500 bucks off the car your purchasing. Just go to www.mitsubishicars.com and click on incentives.

I bought my house with a score of 649. After 3 months of living in my house my score is now 669. I agree with the mortgage helping with your score. Oh and also being late on a house payment is 100 times worse then being late on a car payment.

This is why the banks give you until the 15th of the month to pay
its dumb not to buy a house these days!

I have to second everything he said. You are young, take your time and plan wisely. you will have plenty of nice cars before it's over and done.

just relax a bit and try again later. Too many hits on your report will definitely drop your score even farther. Limited credit does play a factor as well as debt ratio. I know banks wont lend on someone whose income closely matches their debt. Even a 50% debt to income is sketchy. With higher credit scores you could simply tell them your income is $2500 a month and they wont even check. Just an example. Thats all.

If you've graduated within the last 2 years, they give you a $500 discount/rebate on the purchase of a Mitsub, but ONLY IF YOU FINANCE THROUGH MITSU. I had just recently finished a degree when I bought my MR, and planned on getting the discount until I realized it required financing. Basically, they expect recent college grads to not have their own credit options established, so they figure you'll willingly finance through them...while they give you a measly $500 discount. I financed with USAA for a much lower rate, so I didn't get the rebate, bah.
