Just picked up my car from the shop and the guy appologized and said how much he liked the springs. He said the car handled better and the way Hotchkis built the springs was very similiar to the factory springs excpet for a few more coils. So the biggest skeptic was impressed and hopefully I will be too

Now my buddy was testing out a new prototype coilover for his freind.. cost 700 dollars and he improved his autox times significantly from his old coilovers which were works tuned zeals!.. He now is 4-5 seconds faster then me, when my car is making more power.. hmm, huge difference between those coilovers and my hotchks springs i must say.
plus if you couldnt do this then why does ralliart produce a factory spring that you could have installed when you buy the car in japan?.. under warranty and everything.

Coilovers are easy to install, but to get a 100% performance out of them, they have to be setup by someone that suspension experiance. It easier for him to install spring by himself and get a 100% performance out of them (they dont have to setup like coilovers)
Also, the stock shocks are KYBs, I believe, so they are aftermarket shocks
