Buschur has an EVO .......
Dave Buschur has posted a very short initial impression of his new EVO on his website. I'd say he is impressed.
He plans on taking it to Norwalk tommorrow and I am anxious to read his impressions from the track.

For the lazy people
We picked up our new Rally Red EVO VIII on Thursday night.
The car is absolutely unbelievable. The handling, braking, steering, seats, ride and just over all feeling the car gives you is unreal
I didn't think I would be impressed. I have driven a hell of alot of cars. I owned an OZ Lancer, let me tell you, this is like comparing a Corvette to a Chevette. The OZ has nothing remotely similar to the EVO.
So far everyone at the shop has driven it and a few other of my friends. NOBODY has been able to believe this is a car that came from the factory. The only place I can see alot of improvements being made is in the horsepower area. Not to say it isn't fast, it just doesn't have 600 horsepower yet!! The braking from 60-0 is 117 feet, from 80-0 is 199 feet. That is 3' feet longer than the Z06 Vette and from 80-0 it is 5 feet shorter than the Z06. It also runs 4 MPH faster in the 700' slalom
The transmission, it feels like a toploader, not something driven by cables. Not sure how Mitsubishi built this trans but it is nothing like the old DSM transmissions.
We have tons of plans for this car. If I can stay out of it long enough to build some parts for it!!
I will start another topic to address what we have ALREADY BUILT FOR IT!! YES!! Two days old and we have parts done!
If you want a car that is just unbelievalbe you gotta go get one of these.
