seriously this is the review i want, that's how you can tell the difference yall, i test drove the new STi with the different facelift, i drove my evo in, and i agree, they really thought i was gonna trade it in that night. but bottom line is i took that thing to redline, not like every shift but at least i could feel the whole power band, that how you can tell the difference. anyways, the new STi is much smoother and holds more power all the way to the redline stock to stock, but with the mod that i have right now (as you can see...not that much) i can obviously feel my car is faster. i do like their interior though and the DCCD thing, you can notice the difference too. anyways GOOD JOB turbo 13!!!! rally red evo rocks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am sorry but saying that 6 speed is too much to shift makes absolutely no sense.

How can you tell that a 6 speed is too much shifting, it is the same unless you reach 140mph and over.

If a Evo 8 owner is driving a 5 speed and I am driving my 6 speed and we are in traffic, I am not shifting more than the guy that has a 5 Speed Evo.

Please don't make comments that don't make sense!!

As stupid as it is to just rip on some car especially when you have no intention to buy it... i know there are many arguements towards whether or not on how to break the evo in.. some say drive it how you want it broken into.. or baby it. Ive seen people do both, and both have good outcomes. But to just beat a car for your own pleasure is kinda silly.

Ok are you just stupid? You just made everyones point, of how you dont want the car that has been beaten on. If you would of took the car you beat on, then i can understand.. but why beat on a car then ask for the other one.

test driving a car to its limit is normal if you ask me... if im gonna spend a good amount of my savings on it I would want to make sure at the end of the test drive I am satisfied with the car and it meets my expectations. When you test drive a sports car you need to get on it and max it out. If you test drove a family wagon and beat the **** out of it then thats another story....
This is just my opinion but I dont think reving it to 7k is a big deal... these cars can take the abuse you throw at it. Maybe the dealer will be using that same IX as a demo car, who knows? Thousands of 9's out there and you guys worried you might end up buying the one Turbo13 drove? talk about paranoia.. Come on people.... its just a car.. BTW my car had 50 miles on it when I picked it up and I couldnt test drive it either before I bought it. There will always be new cars on the lot..... If the customer didnt rev it to 7k im sure someone else would of...like the sales person.

this is just my opinion
