Congrats Thwack! I just got back from Stohlman's and got to see the 2 yellow, the red one and sat in the black one! Way cool. I can't wait for mine now... but I am. I want black with sunroof but it was tempting seeing the black one sans-roof that they had there!...

So, tell us more about the star treatment! Did you get any accessories? What about extra charges?

I asked to see some accessories and saw the plate cover and the pedals in silver. They only had one set of the pedals and they are selling them for $85 (before installation, but it's easy enough to drill the holes yourself).

The only acessories I got were wheel locks, which I'll pick up today. There wer no extra charges, just the $50 dealer tax (hadnt expected it, but not reallyhidden), and the processing fee of like 140. out the door it wasjust over 32k. since it's arrival surprised me and the dealer, I didnt have a check on me when I went to get it, they just said to bring it by tomorrow. I drove out of there w/ new evo w/o actually paying them anything. All the salesmen and staff were crowded around the car when i showed up, and all congratulated me, etc. I am loving the car.. I seem to have a small whistle from the driver window above 60mph, I'll see if the dealer can check the weatherstripping, as i see it getting irrtating soon. I also need them to take off the stohlman's badge from the back, but they told me they'd take it off today too. I'll be back in the dealer around 6pm today if anybody else plans on swinging by, you can see all of them together again.

Congrats on the kid....jwtodd60...hands down the kid will put more smiles on your face then the EVO....

 

I may try to swing by at 6pm then... meet up with you guys. I won't have my eclipse unfortunately (at the body shop ) but I will be there in my lancer rental... I asked for the lancer (instead of a focus or cavalier) since I figured I could at least "train" on how to use the CD player and where all the things are
