hks intake install...why does my car shake?..

i just installed a hks intake n i was wondering y my car shakes wen i start it up n wen i take off n 1st gear . And my car seems like it is going to die wen i stop it for like a couple of mins but it doesnt..

You need a tune. Or just take the intake off until you can get a tune.

Stock airbox I believe is good for 375HP. Try searching and you will find out that you dont need a upgraded intake. However, a simple drop in KN filter should do the job.

my buddy had the same problem...his MAF was on backwards...an intake wont make you shake and feel like you are going to die just because you dont have a tune...make sure the honeycomb side of the MAF is facing the filter and the actual sensor is towards the pipe/turbo

aaftermarket intake is not needed for Evo... you just wasted ur money right there...it lowered your torque, and has idle problem...

wat we mien by tune iz ur car duz not nizeed a intake n kant support 1 till u tune r up.

Put simply: This isn't a Honda kid, TAKE IT OFF BEFORE YOU SCREW UP ANOTHER PERFECTLY GOOD EVO!
