just purchased hid bulb upgrades

i ordered 6k low beam bulbs from hidplace, also hid look foglight bulbs and yellow ion foglight bulbs from europeanautosport. ill get some pics w/ stock lighting vs aftermarket and post them when i get it.

The stock HIDs s**k. Let me know if you can see any farther down the street on low beam with your upgrade or if it is the projector lens that is killing the light. I had better halogen lamps on my last 2 vehicles. Now I hate driving fast in the dark, don't feel like I can see far enough ahead unless on high beams.

I was under the impression that our stock HIDs are the best for visibility. The only advantage of getting a higher temperature is because it looks cool I guess.

They're just aimed too low. I've read a couple of threads on this site about adjusting them to aim a bit higher so you can acutally see down the road, havent had a chance to test it out myself yet tho...
