The new issue of Turbo Magzine is out and I am very proud to say that I had the honor to write the cover feature article on the Big Valley Suabru. Its hard to write nice things about Subarus - even after they beat you on the track - but Team Big Valley and crew are my good friends from Puerto Rico and they are really great people.

Also in that issue is an update article on my Evo ("Evo Envy 3") and coverage of the WRX vs. EVO shootout with pictures of the AMS EVO, Turbo Tricks Evo, Pruven Evo and a lot of other evos as well.

Everyone who raced in the event is listed.

Congrats to Paul Placido (Darth Evo)who did great in BOTH the auto cross and the drag racing that day !!!!!!!!

Its a great issue of the magzine, hope you all will enjoy it.

i just got a chance to read my issue yesterday.. lots of good info, well done al! your evo is looking good and putting out great #'s, congrats... i'll have to say i was very inpressed with the big valley sti...wow!! thats a very broad powerband, 700+ for over 3000rpms!!!...anyways, all in all a very good read.

 

No doubt the Big Valley STI is a great car and very fast for a true street car with a/c and full interior

Thanks guys. I never would have imagined that one day I would have wrote a cover story for my most favorite car modding mag. Looking through that issue it is clear that the subject matter is really useful and interesting - the article on Hondata and the other articles are all really filled with useful information - not just lists of parts and pics of girls. Its a proud day for myself.

 

What is Big Vally's best 1/4 time? I have searched both this forum and NASIOC and can't find it?

it really is a good article. Probably one of the most informative I have read in awahile. Evo Envy 2 was also good.
