Saftey of rear passengers with sparco harness bar

Anyone have any comments of the saftey of the reat passenger with a sparco harness bar. I would think thier head might hit the bar durning hard braking or a collision casuing some pretty iffy head injuries.

Wrap some foam padding around it and zip it down if that makes you feel better about it. I have the same bar, but I don't carry passengers around.

I'm thinking, just put a bunch of bubble wrap around it and i mean a ton, but then passengers would pop em and that would drive me nuts , is this bar even legal for street use?

Roll bar padding is made to lessen an impact with a helmet on. I wouldn't keep the bar in with passengers.

I was wondering when someone would suggest the most obvious solution to the problem

if you get into a wreck, the rear seatbelts will lock- if you are really concerned, put 5pt harnesses in the rear too!

i know that seat belts will alow enough travel for the head to move foward enough t hit the bar, thats a fact, seat belts stop our bodies, not ur head, jsut though this would be a intresting point to bring up but w/e

are the people riding in the back made of rubber? how is someone's head gonna stretch all the wat into the bar? even with 2 inches of play (way over) in the seat belt on full lock, put your chin on your chest- you wont hit the bar unless you are double jointed in your neck....
