I don't think it looks all that bad, personally I think the OZ spoiler would look real nice. I'm 36, I've been through the ricer scene and that's probably what I'll look into if/when I get my EVO. Though I did see the EVO in person and the wing does look good.
Hell, the whole car simply looks great

He said he removed the Lancer Badge, not the Evolution badge.

ummmm nope, it was the Lancer badge that I took off.
the chip is smaller than the head of a pen.

Nope the two words are seperate.

I went around today and found that a new Lancer trunk is $329.
paint, springs/left and right......labor,,,, well it came out to $894 for a new white trunk lid.
Another guy wanted $400 to weld and repaint the trunk holes.

I went to a fastener place and bought some plugs that fit perfect!!! Only thing is they are black,,,, I need white and I will look for them until I find them. Put a little silicon under the plugs, and BAMMMM.... its done.
And water leakage is not a problem...... the auto repair guy said the trunk has an inside water run off rail for water that might get into the trunk.

Total cost..................93 cents.
Plus I can put on and remove the wing at my liking....if I dont sell it.

Which it is on EBAY as we speak...

Ok I know these are black, but they work perfect. ill keep my eyes out for white ones. This is a great and easy fix. Also i can put the wing on and off when and if I choose. This might be helpful to others that might want to do the same.

The car looks really nice actually, except for the black plastic screws. I think that makes the whole job look cheap and unfinished. I'm sure there are other alternatives.

impressed

well done taking off the wing. its looks really clean. i dunno about the clips though. i would finalize it and get the holes filled and paint the trunk. the car looks bad-*** without that wing though man.
