I'm not sure if mine was replaced with a Lancer windshield. The dot matrix by the mirror is different and the mirror seems like it's mounted higher, but there was no problem mounting the mirror to the windshield and I've read here that the clip on the windshield is different.

With that said, I have no problem with it.

Yeah I have one too and there are no issues, my glass company ended up buying me a Lancer mirror so I can't complain.

No you don't.

I wouldn't even buy the evo windshield if it was in stock and cheaper. The regular lancer windshield has an extra sun visor (dot matrix?) above the rear-view, and it is stronger and can withstand way more of a punishment if you drive on the highway. I went through 2 evo windshields in 1 winter, and now had this on since and no cracks and barly any rock pits, keep in mind i'm in NH/MASS where they put down rocks instead of salt () and drive over 100 miles a day on the highway.

That certainly sounds like the windshield I had put in. I never thought about it, but yeah, the larger dot matrix by the mirror must be on there to block the sun out.

And my Evo mirror went right in place with no problem. I watched the installation.

BTW, someone asked the price. The windshield was $267 and the total bill was $455.
