Stupid Squeak!!!

I been getting this stupid squeak noise in my evo from the dashboard area. When I press down on the dashboard beside where the passenger airbag is, the noise is not as loud. I want to get this thing fixed, but don't know what it is. Mitsubishi would not cover it under warranty for some bs reason and said they would have to charge me to take a look at it, since I have an aftermarket cd player in the car.... But yea, if anybody else has had this problem in their evo and fixed it, please let me know. Thanks
