Evo VIII owners. Sunroof or NO Sunroof?
Evo VIII owners. Sunroof or NO Sunroof?
Like the title says. Which one would you guys prefer to have on the Evo VIII, with sunroff or without. I'm almost close to owning an Evo and the color I like would be silver.
I might end up with a non sunroof equipped Evo mainly because the dealership i was dealing with sold the one with the sunroof and if they don't sell the one without sunroof by tomorrow, they will give me call and basically, I'm the next one inline.
Also, does rigidity of the Evo affected if it's sunroof equipped? How much lighter are the non equipped sunroof Evo VIII?
Thanks for the time.

I say go sunroof. Mine has one, its nice to open it up and feel the slight breeze. Or you can always open up the windows and get you face blasted by wind. Not that big of a weight difference, and I doubt you will lose a race over the weight of the sunroof.
i like mine on my oz it feels good when i'm driving around the coastal area's and just kinda cool to see the moon light while your driving at night and stuff..i say its all up to you and what you want but i like em

I went without sunroofs on both my WRX, and my 337 as that was the only spec available. Can't say that I missed them much. That said, the EVO I ended-up with has a sunroof, and although its not a necessity it does provide added light, and the tilt function provides nice flow through ventilation. There are very few luxuries available in this car so the sunroof is an ok option that won't hurt resale value.
