now I know.....

what everyone is talking about. I asked the salesman that if he can not find a black evo IX until spring then i will wait until spring and he came back and say that if i wait and not take the one from chicago then the deal will be void. In case you guys are wondering the deal for the IX was 30,189. The one i think they were trying to get is from luxury motors and i heard a few people on this board say that their evo's are scratched up plus people pm me telling me that people take those evos for test drive daily so i do not want a car that has been demo so many times. So i told the salesman forget it then, i think he should honor his side of the bargain because he say he'll call me back but he never did on so many ocassions and he always tells me the same story. I don't care anymore, i really wanted an evo so bad but i'll wait until spring when i can find a black one on someone's lot and negotiate with them. sure it won't be invoice but it's okay. Thanks for reading guys, i just had to vent this.

There is a black evo 9 in bradley at cub shaver ask for shawn. its an hour south of chicago.

He'll honor the deal! That is just what his GM or Sales Manager wants him to tell you! Trust me, I am a Mitsubishi Sales Person! I hate when people in my profession act like this! It is ridiculous!

That was just his way of trying to captivate your business that day! He knows if you dont buy now, that you probably wont come back! He also knows that he is lying to you about the spring time release! There were only so many of the black allocated for certain areas, but yes, they will be able to get more ordered after the first of the year!

If you walk in there when he finally gets one, he will give you the same deal or if I were you, I would take my business elsewhere (I would probably do that any way since he lied to you)

FYI. If you guys are buying EVO's that have been test driven you are running a risk for major problems down the road as we discovered with the 2003's. At our dealership the only one driving the EVO is the one that signs on the dotted line!
