no nipple needs to be capped, leave it open, as for ur whistling, its probably too loose, take the screw all the way out then start over and turn it about 2.5times and lock it and keep testing and tightening from there, PS: i've used over 7 bov's and this is the best 1 PERIOD besides tshe MR DV

You capped off the intake hose? Are you venting to atmosphere? You need to have 100% recirculating BOV if your not tuned for venting to atmosphere. I have this BOV, and it holds boost like crazy when you do the single spring mod and connnect the 3rd nipple. (done by DSS and by RRE)

no, greddy type S has no recirc kit needed, u just plumb the opening where u took the stock BOV out of. Same setup as if it was stock

I still cant figure out what is wrong with the bov, i tryed both single spring and duel spring and i put it in with the flange in the turbo pipe and the other end to the intake pipe but i hook up the hose to the nipple closest to the purple cylinder and it makes the same noise no matter what, chu chu chu chu, tight or loose it all makes the same noise. i saw that when i opend the bov the rubber piece was sortof bent out of shape, could it be that, i also have my bov where the adjustment screw is facing up, plz need hlp what am i doing wrong?!

facing up? the adjustment screw should be point towards the front of the car. sounds like you have it in backwards

ok there is two openings and you put the flange on the bottom farthest away from the purple top right? then you take the flange and connect it to the intake pipe which is on the right side and put the other port into the bottem hose next to the turbo right? i did that and i connected the hose and i adjusted to any setting and it would just keep leaking or somthing, it sounded like a turkey then it would blow off. then i switched it so the flange is on the bottem and now it dont leak and it flutters and even though i switch out the springs tehy all make the same noise, like a flutter at any setting. what am i doing wrong? thanks
