Ah, you were definitely one of the people whose review I wanted to hear. How are you liking it so far? (despite your still breaking it in)

Agreed. Glad to hear you got it finally. Seriously, though... the pictures I've seen of the Tarmac Black make it look similar in pics to the Civics in the TFATF minus the green glow. Any truth to this in person?

BTW, I should say that no, I'm not a 'tard, and have seen other E8s in person, just not tarmac black, and no, while you couldn't confuse one with a civic, I thought that from some pics, that it looked "similar."

Congrats,,,,, i too will like to see what you think of your evo8 compared to your SteathTT.......Modded or not.

I would like to get a baseline of what this evo8 compares to, to what others were driving perviuos.

Come on Street', these ain't nothing like Civics. You gotta go and see one in person. But even in pictures...there ain't nothing like them.

No no... you misunderstand. I saw a pic of a Tarmac Black, and my first thought was that with the lines of the front lip, and how the headlights and intercooler where the only things standing out, it made the overall visual effect look similar to the civics. I mean no disrespect to the evo, and in hindsight, it was a stupid question, but, that was the overall effect I got from the pics I've seen, given that front-quarter angle.

I've seen a red, silver, and yellow, just haven't seen the t-black in person yet. I like the silver the best so far.

rt turbo is my brother, and since he's on his way to Cancun, Mexico for spring break right now, I'll reply some for him since I talked to him last night a while on the phone about the car.
By the way, I don't think he has pics yet, because I have yet to see any! Hopefully soon though!
He said that just driving under 5000rpms for breaking it in, that he can tell it's a lot faster than his Stealth was stock. Also, he said the handling is UNREAL, my dad has a 2000 Boxster S, and he said it handles similar but better than that, or for those of you that have never been in one of those, they love to be tossed around!
He also really loves the Recaros, says they fit so nicely and really hold you solid in the car.
Also, he said the HID is AWESOME and that I won't believe it!
We talked about other things, but that's the main jist of it!
I hope to see it soon and get a ride, it sounds SWEET and I still haven't seen one in person!

I'll say that I had totally intended on purchasing a silver car until the day came and I didn't get the choice of the options I wanted on a silver. I took one look at black and didn't look back after I rolled off the lot. Not once in 8 months or longer had I ever even considered it. I don't regret it in anyway.
