Thanks got them from boosted1(a member) on here with the hyperblack lugs(mcgaurd spline drives and they weighed half the weight of my stock lugs on my bathroom scale) for a great price.

You can find LED bulbs on ebay that will emit yellow light but look clear when off. You might want one with a little cluster of LED's to be bright enough. I think they're 194 equivilents
By the way you can paint the tops of the gray bulb mounts flat black for an even smoother look if you want to go nuts.

Not sure about other states, but California VC states amber OR white light. Your problem with legality is no longer the color of the light (as long as you use one of the two). But, the greater problem is the omission of the reflector (which was on the amber insert).
As mentioned above, PIAA's would look good. I have these for my turn signals. They are a little bluer than the HID's, but look ok.

I can't remember what brand it was, but my experience with LED 194 bulbs is that it is only highly visible when looking directly at the bulb. Anything from the side is very low light visibility.
Check ebay: 194 led bulbs.

Just ordered the PIAA sidemarker led white/blue 194's. I will post pics when they get here. I got them at cardomain.com for $28.90 shipped for the pair. These should look alot better than my week stockers and supposedly they emit light out and foward, but we will see how nice they are in 5 days ups ground.

W5W is the international name. It's the same peanut sized, wedge bulb.
Here's an example I was able to find online:

(for you non-believers )

Wow, awesome headlights, I'll have mine done just that when I get an Evo. Keep us updated, because I am sure that once I get my headlights like that, that I'll want to make the yellow go away.
