All I checked were geico and liberty mut., and geico was alot lower. If anyone knows of lower in NJ let me know....

Is there a big price difference in insurance between an evo and a lancer?

Yes, I know with my insurance the Evo is in the same class as any other sports car, such as corvettes. Lancers would be in a 4dr sedan bracket.

So basically the insurance is gonna be high, i guess i should be somewhere around your price since I live in Marlton.

If your around my age, 19, and live in marlton with a clean record, it will be hard to beat that rate. I just had to bite the bullet, and hell is it worth it.

Yea, theres not alot of evos in South Jersey what color do you have b/c I have talk to alot of people in the area with them

hahah funny cuz when I first got my evo, insur took it under as LANCER not lancer-evo. Too bad that won't work anymore. You don't wanna know what insur cost me wit an evo..about 8 tickets, 3 of them were speeding and im under 21.

Philly insurance for a 19 yr old, well let say this when I was had a 88 Mustang LX 5.0 and I paid 3600 a year with 500 deductible. I had a clean record and this was back in 91. My mom insured the car for the first couple years the car was under my mothers name and she paid 3000 for ins. I would not put under your grand parents name it would kinda of look suspicious for a 65+ people driving a EVO.
