It would be REALLY sad if the story about his wife was also a lie.

Wow if you guys think he screwed the evo owners bad.. haha.. go to www.my350z.com and just search, "david stoner" "dave stoner" "350zfourms.org"
You will find countlessssssssssssssss threads about many people complaining. He was banned from my350z because of this.. and thats pretty rare to have the mods ban a sponsor/vendor.

If you find out the story about his wife is a lie, you should sue him for every penny he's got. Sympathy only goes so far anyway, even if it is true.

Whats sad is that he is still allowed to be a vendor on here. Maybe the forum needs to take an "OBJECTIVE" look at this, not a financial one.

Its obviously a lie. The sad part is these guys believed him. I hear sob stories like his almost everyday.

A good rule of thumb is:

Any businessman who takes longer than 5 seconds to explain their sad situation is lying.

I feel sorry for you guys that have bought things from him this owner has skipped out. Went throught it with an engine for my 510. I was lucky I was able to track him down, take him to court, and garnish his wages. Whomever lives close to this guys business should keep a close eye out.

It's pretty simple. If the case is successful from the creditors' point of view, the company will be forced to sell all its assets and pay its creditors whatever percentage of the debt its assets will cover (after payment of administrative expenses like lawyers fees).

Think about it.
yeah... but will there be anything left after the lawyers fees? this guy screwed a BUNCH of people. it is clear that he is a first class fraud. i hope he gets busted by the feds for interstate fraud and mail fraud.

oh, and BUMP so the newbs get to see this. this should be stickied so more people do not get defrauded.

They should sue, rape, murder, and then ban evo8.com from this forum and from doing business!

After reading all of these threads, this guy either has one hell of a drug problem or is an all out skate!

You need to weigh your options as consumers. You're talking relative low dollar items (non-aggregated) and a .com - Let the CC company handle it.
I would like to believe he would not fabricate a story about his wife - it's poor character to accuse him of that without conclusive evidence.
If he wanted your $$, he would do what Velocity in Cali did to VW guys. Post a sale, take hundreds of thousands in revenue over 3 weeks and close the doors.
3 months is too long for him to sit on a part or provide a wrong part. Have you considered he may have an outstanding debt with shipping companies? You accuse him of other things, why not that?

I wish you all luck in resolution - If it were me, I'd go thrugh my CC company.
