I do agree with you on the Brake dust clean them rims then 2 days later dam C@#p all over em again. As far as the turning radius its great, you ever drive a 98 sebring what the H@ll was chrysler thinking?

I have noticed a common problem with others while driving - EVO Envy! You listening Freud?

 

I feel left out, ha. In fact I feel so left out that I had to quote myeslf.
I'll have to contact my dealer and ask if this is normal. I never heard a car with that noise in 1st and 2nd gear.

my brand new IX has a whining noise (not real loud, but noticable) under acceleration. sounds like a supercharger whine.

ordered from bad issue to tolerable...

-rain water remains in window door panels. even days after it rains
-rain water on driver and passenger windows dont dry or blow off when driving
-car eats up a lot gas, even if i'm not boosting
-notchy and hard shift gear gate
-whiny accleration noise 1st & 2nd gear

 

Its not the turning radius is just the steering ratio.

 

the a-pillar by the passenger side rattles like crazy. it makes me insane and i want to strip the my whole interior apart.

 

I agree the only thing that really bugs me sometimes is the notchy shift gate. The other stuff doesn't really bug me to much.

 

the turning radius is found from hitting the stops on the rack and turning. the steering ratio has nothing to do with the turning radius.



and yes, the steering ratio kicks ***, but the turning radius sucks.

 

I have 35k miles on my 03, still have the stock clutch. The throw out bearing does rattle every so often. I know the clutch is on its way out because it's starting to engage pretty high.

My car seems to be picky with gas. It drives well and makes better power on Shell. I've tried 76, Chevron and AMPM. Never will do AMPM again. 76 fairly good, kind of weak on Chevron.

Other than that, I don't have any complaints about the car.

+1 for me too on the bad drivers. People seem to think that EVOs were made to do 6k clutch drops. Retards.

 

There's actually a TSB on that. It's super easy to do at home, just pull off the a pillar and put felt on the edge of the inside, problem solved.
