If you don't get one I can send you a couple. There not spectacular but something to read when your taking a dump.
i realized that, just didnt think sending me a brochure would have been so difficult, regardless of how bad a day the internet manager was having.

thanks mate, but i already found a way to get the brochure. again i'm not posting about not gettin the brochure, but the ridiculous customer service.

i'm done whining, thanks for reading guys. have a good evening

Hey,

Same deal happened with me. I stopped by the dealer 3 times over a period over 3 weeks. They never had any. I reuqested twice on the internet for a brochure, but never received it. I got the actual Evo before the brochure, lol. Well, I never did get the brochure. But it's all good now

1st of all you come on here posting a thread about how the mitsu website wouldnt get you a brochure (they use that to get a dealership to contact you about the car you are interested in in the hopes that you will just take your butt down there and listen to a sales pitch or worst case senario, they will get your contact information and have a lead that they can bug their Internet guy about and tell him how serious of a customer you are.... truth is your looking for a friggin brocure....

2nd... I offer to send you one and then you say...nah... ill just go get one from so and so.... so did we like just burn up a thread for nothing?

3rd... are you really wanting a brochure... If I offered to overnight you one would you accept?

Im confused ....

Please advise,[/QUOTE]

thanks for being the nice guy, but like the first line of my post said, i was whining about the customer service i got, NOT i didnt get a brochure. right after i got the email i already figured out a way to get a brochure. so if u consider my whining a waste of a thread, then i apologize for wasting ur time. but if u read the first line of my post, u shouldn't have read on then.

i understand ur point 1 completely. i just ddint think requesting a brochure would get me the response i got in my email. it worked for other car makers didnt it? i told them in the comment box on the request that i'm just interested in teh brochure for considerations the car, not necessarily buying it. is it wrong to consider a product before buying it?

again i already figured out a way to get a brochure before i made my post, and i told u that in my pm. i appreciate ur offer to help me, but it's taken care of already. again, thanks. hopefully no hard feelings.

i'm out before this thread turns into a flame war ( i dont know how it's possible, but u never know )

I too requested from MItsubishi's website brochures for the Evolution 8 and 9 several times, but never received either one. Finally I just went to the dealer (1. to look at the car and 2. to see if they had the brochure). Eventually, the dealer had the brochure and I was able to get them I now have the brochure for the 2003, 2005 and 2006 model years. The only one I don't have is 2004 and that is because I did not get one for what ever reason. The point is that if you really want the brochure go and get it. If that means going to the same dealership that told you they don't have it, then thats what it means. Or you could ask a relative who lives somewhere else and have them mail you the borchure. Anyway thats my story and input. Good luck. I hope you get the evo brochure before production ends.

I went to 4 different dealership before I got my brochure, it was a pain and I was determined to find one. It's always good to keep a brochure of the car you are buying, in case you are selling it later on you can always show the potential buyers the original brochure that came with it.

Want a Brochure?

If any of you have not received brochures from your Mitsubishi web request, please pm me with your name and the address that you would like your brochure sent to and I will be happy to get it right out!

As others have posted, if you can't handle the "baggage" of crappy customer service that you'll get from MOST (but not all) dealers, avoid the Evo. In my 20 years of car ownership, Mitsubishi is the worst experience I have ever had. Mistsubishi dealers should be practically blowing you to get you into the showroom and into a new car, especially if you're a young QUALIFIED buyer. But, instead of paving the way for a long term relationship in which you might buy MORE Mistsubishi cars, they **** people off and tarnish any sort of halo effect the Evo may have on their product line and ultimately their bottom line. Mitsubishi are short term, single step thinkers... it's surprising to see this from a Japanese automaker.

Maybe some people are just silly and don't enjoy sending their contact information to random, unknown people?

HOW STRANGE!

When you are ready to buy your EVO, just go to Huntington Beach Mitsu. They sell more EVOs than anyone, can get the car you want, and will have the best deal. Plus they are more likely to repair a modded EVO on warranty than most other dealers. No, I don't work there. But I have had a very good experience with them, both sales and service.
