^yea that is funny...as for the clutch issue my 05 was fine for 15k until I lined er up with MOST-WANTED's nsx ...my evo9 mr clutch feels identical

So I guess its safe to say the clutch hasn't gone through any type of change from evos VIII > IX ?

Anyway people put up some driving tips for launching, etc. so not as to wear down your clutch so fast! Please post your secrets!

Yep, I had almost 30k miles on my evo with over 430whp..on stock clutch. I bought the car brand new at 8 miles

Evo was sold a few weeks ago, who knows if the clutch is still goin.

i put 3,xxxmi on my stocker and launched it 2 times it slipped really bad and i asked my other freind with an 05 if i was doing it right and he rode with me and he said that his never did that and it would also make like a grinding noise when i launched it so i got a diff clutch
