Evo interior?
Just strip the whole thing like a rally car interior if you don't like it.. 
Then when you go to sell the car, put it all back in. You get the best of both worlds.. a weight reduction, plus when you sell the car it has a brand new interior.

How can anyone even expect the Evo to even compare the interior of a G35. One is a luxury car and the other is a performance vehicle. The 2 don't even target the same market.
G35 cost about the same as the IX MR. So I guess either we should expect the G35 perform the same as the evo or the evo to be as luxurious as the G35. Like someone said, the 2 companies spent their money on different things. You can't have all the performance and all the luxuries for only $35k. If you want a good mix of both, go get a M3 and pay $65k for it. Ridiculous!

with enough money you can dress up the interior to be more g35ish....
i'd suggest relocating the temp knobs to the lower cubby... then go to mp3 car and build yourself a carPc and custom make a bezel to go where the current radio/temp knobs are.
then install some nav software mp3 software and such things.
that's the most gadgety thing i can think of to do. hardest thing will be fabircating the bezel for the touch screen, but there are tons of DIY bezel guides out there.

ya know i have heard alot of complaints about the evo interior. "spartan" being a term that is used alot.
personally i like it, but then again i am a minimalist. i like everything to be clean and purposeful.
if you don't like it you can do one of two things.
a.) buy a different car
b.) look at it as a blank canvas, and create something unique out of it.
