If you know it's been asked 100 times, then you know it's been answered 100 times. There's no reason to put it on a stock Evo. I hope you it was given to you and not something you bought.

not if you VTA. it can work if you get an electronic idle stabilizer or recirculate. Just a heads up you are going to get flamed for not searching before posting this. It's not worth the risk just for the sound. If you need something that holds boost better get a high quality recirculation dv.

If you want the psssh sound, grow up. Seriously, why spend 30 K on a car to get that sound, especially when the pursuit of obtaining that sound can impede your cars reliability and performance?

Go buy an SRT4 or buy the electronic gadet that makes the sound for your car.

Mods, please put a sticky on the top of evo general with the title "BOV, intakes and the psshh sound-read here first.

Uh, so you know it got deleted, then you posted the same question again? Isn't that like touching a hot pan, getting burned, then touching it again? Greg, do you mind?
