Take the money. Volks are fantastic rims....typically very light and of great quality. Even if you have to chip in a few hundred, they are worth it.

If I had an EVO, I'd get these -

http://store.yahoo.com/autotoyaz/spmaxrawh9621.html

Supposedly pretty good quality, and really cheap, too. The rest of the money you can use for power mods

i hope you didn't go to the Merchants in Columbia. They road rashed my rims when they were putting on my new all seasons. I highly would not advise going there to anyone.

take the money! look for used OEM wheels or something ans spend the $ on something more important for my STi I got another set of the oem bbs wheels (2005 year) for $550 for a set of silvers (usually its around 800-1000 for 05 wheels) used of course but who cares, try to find some deal like that cause $1700 is a lot of money you could use a lot of the $ for something better, atleast in my opinion, granted the STi wheels prices differ from evo wheels (although they could be more or less depending which oem wheels are you talking about) good luck.

where can i get work emotion rims? and do they come in the same size and offset for factory sized tires (because i just mounted brand new tires on the rims and don't want to have to buy a different sized set).

thanks guys. any other suggestions are greatly appreciated. i'll give te rundown of where i took it for work and what all happened in detail, after its all said and done. the owner told me a dozen times today he wants to do whatever it takes to make me happy.
