EVO cluster Brightness

I'm installing my DEFI BF's that I had in the STi into the EVO...but for some reason it looks like the Dash is Very dim.
Obviously dimmer than STi cluster (made by DEFI)...but it looks like Its supposed to be brighter but just won't get brighter.Maybe its me...but looks like you'd have to dim the DEFi's ALOT to get them to match nicely.

BTW:
any trick to keeping the fog button on at all times instead of turning them on every time I turn the headlights on?

New to the EVo fourms of course

Do Bolsen's "dash light mod" --> http://bolsen.homeip.net/evolights.htm

just take the little blue covers off of the bulbs, and they'll be brighter (how they should be).

One thing everyone should know the brighter your interior lights the less you can see outside at night. You may want tio keep it dim on the roads but on the drag strip bring it up. Personally I keep all my gauges so I can barely see them.

I think i may try this. Lights ARE pretty dim, but doesn't bother me too too much.
