So if your words holds fact, than I guess you one up the japanese engineers and while they made a car called the "lancer" evolution, you drive a "GVR4" evolution.
The lancer ex turbo 2000 debuted in early 1970 (i believe 1973). The article does not state it evolved from the GVR4, they moved (evolved) on to the "lancer" chasis because the "galant" chasis was not better than the lancer size/handling/tunning wise for the next rally season... thus turning the "base" lancer to an evolved state (evolution). Besides the lancer and galant, the 4G63 was used in other vehicles aswell, but the "lancer" was the true and only evolution model.
P.S. Let us know when mitsu releases this "galant vr4 evolution" model, should be sweet...
